About the Role Are you looking to contribute to the community in ameaningful way? Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and helpmaintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment forour tūroro (patients) and whānau (families). You will be part of a small fast paced team that plays anessential part of maintaining Burwood Hospital. The team provides exceptionalcleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and night shifts. You will be responsible for: Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standards Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframes Operating and maintaining equipment safely around patients and whānau Handling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols Salary - Starting from $27.80 per hour. Based onthe Etū Multi-Employer Collective Agreement. About You We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexiblecandidate who is able to bring their passion for cleaning to our Burwoodfacility. This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help make theHospital and hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau. Full training will be provided to all new staff joining ourteam. Skills and Experience Excellent communication skills, customer service and time management skills High level of patient confidentiality Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Accuracy and attention to detail Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health, is preferred but not essential.
