Head of Department - Science, Commencing 2027 Full time, Permanent Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Middle leadership Science 2 x MU and 1 MMA Iona College is a boarding and day school for girls in Years 7–13, with a strong Presbyterian heritage and a culture of academic success, and outstanding achievement in sport and the performing arts. Located in Havelock North, the College balances tradition with a dynamic, innovative learning environment for 330 students. We are seeking a passionate, successful leader who is an experienced and innovative teacher of science. As head of science the successful applicant will have strong pedagogical and curriculum knowledge, be future-focused and have the ability to integrate STEM and digital technologies into the curriculum. They will work collaboratively, empower others and inspire learning to the highest level. A commitment to the school’s special character and co-curricular programme is essential.
