We work closely with business owners, investors, and buyers, delivering expert advice and exceptional service throughout New Zealand. We're looking for an experienced Office Administrator who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and brings a positive, professional approach to everything they do. This is a pivotal role supporting our Directors and wider team across administration, bookkeeping, HR co-ordination, client communications and marketing support. About the Role ... As the hub of our office, you'll ensure the day-to-day operations of the business run efficiently while helping create an exceptional experience for clients, suppliers and visitors. Your responsibilities will include: Managing day-to-day office operations and administration Accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, trust accounting and maintaining Xero records Co-ordinating correspondence, emails, and phone enquiries Organising and maintaining digital and physical filing systems Supporting Directors with recruitment, employment contracts, payroll, and HR administration Co-ordinating meetings and company events Managing office facilities, supplies, and supplier relationships Assisting with marketing activities, including newsletters, social media scheduling, and event co-ordination Supporting projects and continuously improving office systems and processes About You ... You'll be someone who enjoys taking initiative, has strong attention to detail, and can confidently juggle competing priorities. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: At least 2 years' experience in an office administration role, ideally within professional services, finance, property, legal, or business broking environments Experience with bookkeeping and accounts administration Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities High proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based business systems A positive, professional, and approachable manner The ability to work independently while supporting a busy team Absolute discretion and a commitment to confidentiality Experience with Xero, marketing co-ordination, graphic design or content creation would be advantageous but is not essential.
