Our intimate setting allows us to slow down, build genuine relationships, and provide the responsive, individualised care that our youngest tamariki deserve. We are seeking a passionate, peaceful, and playful kaiako to join our dedicated team. Our philosophy is inspired by the work of Emmi Pikler and Magda Gerber and is centred on respectful relationships, peaceful practice, and seeing infants and toddlers as capable, competent learners. We value responsive relationships, free movement, sensitive observation, child-led learning, intentionally curated environments, and unhurried care moments. Natural environments and resources are woven throughout our practice, fostering children's curiosity, creativity, and a meaningful connection with the natural world. Through our key teaching approach and commitment to continuity of care and education, tamariki experience secure, trusting relationships that support their wellbeing and development. We work closely with Childspace Wilton, creating a seamless transition as children grow. Familiar kaiako move with children between centres, providing continuity of care, education, and relationships.
