About the Role Are you looking to contribute to the community in ameaningful way? Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and helpmaintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment forourtūroro (patients) and whānau (families). You will be part of a small fast paced team that plays anessential part of maintaining Burwood Hospital. The team provides exceptionalcleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and night shifts. You will be responsible for: Completingall cleaning tasks tointernationalhealthcarestandards Ensuringdailyschedules and tasksare completedwithinset timeframes Operatingand maintainingequipmentsafely around patients andwhānau Handlingcleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols Salary - Starting from $27.80 per hour. Based onthe Etū Multi-Employer Collective Agreement. About You We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexiblecandidate who is able to bring their passion for cleaning to our Burwoodfacility. This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help make theHospital and hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau. Full training will be provided to all new staff joining ourteam. Skills and Experience Excellentcommunication skills, customer service and time management skills Highlevel ofpatient confidentiality Abilityto work independently and be self-motivated Accuracyand attention to detail Experienceas a cleaner, particularly within health,is preferred but notessential.
