About the Role NelsonHospital's Medical Admissions and Planning Unit (MAPU) delivers acute inpatientcare to adults presenting with a broad range of medical and cardiac conditions. With a target length of stay of 36 hours, MAPU offers a fast-paced, dynamicclinical environment where you'll have excellent opportunities to apply anddevelop your clinical skills. This roleinvolves rostered, rotating shifts across seven days, providing variety andflexibility in your work schedule. About the Team / Location MAPU is a supportive, close-knit team of nurses, doctors, and alliedhealth professionals who work collaboratively to deliver timely, high-qualitycare. With a strong focus on teamwork and communication, the unit provides apositive environment where everyone contributes to achieving the best outcomesfor patients. About You You are a registered nursewith a current Nursing Council of New Zealand (NZNC) registration andpractising certificate, and bring experience in medical, cardiac, or acutenursing. You are committed todelivering high-quality, patient-centred care and thrive as part of acollaborative team.
