Job Description
As a Procurement & Inventory Specialist , you will support laboratory operations through purchasing, inventory control, and close coordination with internal teams and external vendors. You’ll manage day-to-day communications, coordinate orders, testing services, and deliveries, and ensure inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels and expiry dates. The role also involves supporting procurement activities, including purchase orders and invoicing, as well as ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods (DG) storage requirements through regular safety checks. In addition, you will coordinate external laboratory sample submissions, track results, and contribute to audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. A bit about you You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and high standards. You will have: A relevant bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Strong Microsoft Office and system skills Strong time management and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Physical fitness is required, including manual handling up to 25kg.
