About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga We're looking for a General Manager Global Logistics to join our Global Supply Chain team. This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the most critical functions within Fonterra's Global Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Director Global Supply Chain, you'll lead the end-to-end movement of Fonterra products globally while driving operational excellence, customer service performance, and long-term logistics transformation. Leading a large team of approximately and managing a sizeable logistics spend you'll play a critical role in ensuring our logistics network is scalable, customer‑centric, cost-effective, and future‑ready. Working closely with senior leaders, customers, and strategic partners, you'll deliver the next generation of logistics capability through innovation, digitisation, automation, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Develop and execute a multi-year logistics strategy and transformation roadmap aligned to business priorities Lead large-scale logistics and supply chain transformation programmes across multiple functions and geographies Drive automation, digitisation, advanced analytics, and process optimisation initiatives Deliver world‑class customer service, DIFOT performance, and operational excellence Build strong collaborative partnerships with key customers, transport providers, and logistics partners Lead commercial performance through budget management, cost optimisation, and investment planning Oversee strategic supplier relationships, contracts, service levels, and performance management frameworks Champion a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement Develop future capability through talent, succession, and leadership development Ensure operational resilience through robust risk management and contingency planning About You | Mōu You are a proven logistics and supply chain executive who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments and has a passion for transforming operations to deliver sustainable business outcomes.
