Health Care Assistant - Emergency Department (Permanent)Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora - Whanganui District Rostered and Rotating Shifts Permanent, 32 hours per week About the Role Whanganui Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking a motivated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis. Our Emergency Department provides care to both adult and paediatric patients across a wide range of medical, surgical, and trauma presentations. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our nursing and clinical teams to deliver safe, high-quality care in a busy and rewarding environment. This position involves rostered and rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and is committed to providing excellent support to patients and whānau. About the Team Our multidisciplinary Emergency Department team is committed to delivering patient- and whānau-centred care to the Whanganui community. We work collaboratively, supporting one another to provide responsive and compassionate care during some of our patients' most vulnerable moments.
