Medical Reception - Greenlane

Are you an experienced Medical Receptionist looking for a full-time temporary opportunity throughout August? We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised medical receptionist to join a busy private medical practice, providing exceptional frontline support to patients and clinicians.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients and managing front desk reception
\n
• Answering a high volume of phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
\n
• Booking, rescheduling and confirming appointments
\n
• Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality
\n
• Processing patient arrivals and payments
\n
• Liaising with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals
\n
• General administrative and reception duties to support the practice
\n

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

\n
• Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist within a GP, specialist or private medical practice
\n
• Confidence working on a busy frontline reception desk
\n
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
\n
• High attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach
\n
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n

Desirable:

\n
• Experience using the Elixir medical practice management system.
\n
• If you haven't used Elixir, experience with another medical practice database (such as Medtech, Genie, Best Practice, Cliniko or similar) will also be highly regarded, as you'll be comfortable learning new systems quickly.
\n
