Truck Driver Class 4

Quick and Safe Movers Limited is looking for a full time Class 4 Truck Driver in a permanent role. The role is for a minimum of 30 hours per week and maximum 40 hours per week. The minimum wage is $30 per hour to maximum $35 per hour. The role is based in Auckland.

The job responsibilities are
\n Positioning vehicles for loading and unloading;
\n Comfortable using lifting and tipping devices for loading and unloading;
\n Ensure safety requirements are met while loading and unloading vehicles;
\n Making regular quality checks of the truck to ensure they are safe to drive;
\n Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight;
\n Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage;
\n Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of
\n deliveries.

Skills/Experience/Qualification required

You should have at least one year of relevant driving experience or a High School qualification.
\n You should also have a NZ full driving license or an overseas drivers license with the ability to gain a NZ full drivers license for the role.
\n You should have dangerous goods and forklift endorsement or the ability to gain the endorsements.
