Our farm-inspired early childhood centre is seeking a passionate and capable2ICto join our leadership team. Licensed for77 tamariki across three rooms, we offer a unique environment where tamariki learn through meaningful connections with animals, nature, and the outdoors. This role is based in ourpreschool room (3-5 years)and involves supporting the team of kaiako while working closely alongside the head kaiako and centre manager. Responsibilities include mentoring kaiako, supporting curriculum development and planning, contributing to internal evaluation, assisting with administration, rosters, and staffing, and helping drive continuous improvement across the centre. We are looking for someone who: Holds an ECE qualification and current Teaching Council certification. Has leadership experience or is ready to step into a leadership role. Is passionate about mentoring and supporting others. Has strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, curriculum planning, and assessment. Values reflective practice and continuous improvement.
