What you'll do As aReconciliation Specialist,you'llplayan important rolein supportingGenesis'market operations by ensuring our energy reporting, settlements and reconciliations areaccurate,compliantand delivered on time. Working closely with internal teams, externalpartnersand industry stakeholders,you'llinvestigate variances,maintaincritical marketdataand helpidentifyopportunities to improve systems and processes. Some of the key responsibilities are: Prepare andsubmitElectricity Authority reports, ensuring compliance with industry requirements and deadlines. Complete energy and network reconciliations, investigating variances and supporting issue resolution. Maintain the Electricity Registry and support annual Electricity Authority market audits. Provide reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders,regulatorsand external partners. Contribute to continuous improvement byidentifyingopportunities to enhance reporting systems and processes. What you'll bring You’llenjoy working with data, solvingproblemsand deliveringaccurateoutcomes.You’llbe naturallyorganised,collaborativeand comfortable working in a regulated environment where attention to detail really matters. We'relooking for someone with: 1-2 years' experience in the energy,utilitiesor financial services sector, with exposure to regulatory or compliance reporting. Strong Excel skills, particularlyformulas. Experience working with data management,reconciliationand reporting systems. Strong analytical skills witha high levelof accuracy and attention to detail. A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for improving systems and processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong working relationships. A proactive approach, strongorganisationalskillsand the ability to manage competing priorities. A background in wholesale or retail energy operations would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in people with strong analytical capability and a willingness to learn.
