Exciting role working with training providers and our crew Based from Rongotai with work around wider Wellington region This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. The remuneration range for this role is $64,306 to $90,785 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience Are you a highly organised coordinator who thrives on keeping people, training, and compliance on track? Tiaki Wai is looking for a proactive Training Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our operational teams. In this varied position, you will coordinate training and competency requirements, maintain compliance records, support fleet and asset administration, and help ensure our people have the skills and certifications they need to work safely and effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple priorities, building strong relationships, and contributing to a high-performing team that delivers essential services to the community. What You'll Be Doing Coordinate and schedule training to ensure employees maintain required competencies and certifications. Maintain accurate training records and monitor renewal and refresher requirements. Provide compliance reporting and support audit readiness. Raise and update purchase orders and assist with accounting and invoice queries. Support management of on-call rosters across operational teams. Coordinate servicing, WOF/COF requirements, and preventative maintenance for fleet and small plant. Build strong relationships with leaders, employees, training providers, and key stakeholders. Provide backup support to depot coordinators as required. What We're Looking For Previous administration or coordination experience. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Confident communication and relationship-building skills. Strong customer service focus and a collaborative approach. High level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office applications. Experience with systems such as Maximo, JD Edwards, finance systems, or the ability to learn new systems quickly. Full driver's licence. Why join us?
