Job Summary Team Event is a full-service event production company specialising in the delivery of consumer events and festivals. Team Event is known for festivals such as The Great Kiwi Beer Festival, Wine & Food Festival South Island, Nostalgia, and Australasia’s biggest festival, Electric Avenue, as well as Live in the Park, staging on-off concerts in Hagley Park such as Tash Sultana and Ocean Alley. About the role Are you a creative and highly organised marketing professional looking for an exciting new opportunity in New Zealand's live events industry? Team Event is on the lookout for a Marketing & Design Coordinator to join the team, bringing our brands to life through standout creative and hands on marketing support. This is a role where graphic design sits at the core, alongside broader support across digital campaigns, social media, ticketing and content creation. Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you'll help shape every customer touchpoint, and step in with wider marketing support during busy periods and major events. What you’ll be doing Creative design: Produce high quality artwork across digital and print, from social media and EDMs to signage and promotional collateral. Content creation: Create engaging written, visual and video content that brings Team Event's brands to life. Social media management: Plan, schedule and publish content, and manage community engagement across our social channels. Campaign support: Assist with planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, website and social media. Marketing coordination: Support the Marketing Manager with assets, suppliers, reporting and project timelines. Collaboration: Work closely with Sponsorship, Communications, Operations and Artist Relations teams to deliver integrated campaigns. What you’ll bring Relevant experience: A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or equivalent industry experience. Design capability: Strong graphic design skills with an excellent eye for detail and advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills. Content skills: Confidence with Canva and basic video editing tools such as Premiere Pro or CapCut. Communication: Strong copywriting and communication skills across written and visual content. Organisation: Excellent time management, with confidence juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
