We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to join our leadership team on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. Supporting both Novotel Rotorua Lakeside and ibis Rotorua, this role is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact across two well-established hospitality brands within the global Accor network. Working closely with the General Manager and Department Heads, you will lead all aspects of the People & Culture function, ensuring our people feel supported, engaged, and empowered to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Job Description What You'll Be Doing Leading recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning Providing employment relations and HR advice to managers Managing performance, development, and employee engagement initiatives Supporting learning and development across the hotels Ensuring compliance with New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practices Manage HR administration, reporting, and workforce planning Driving a positive workplace culture aligned with Accor values Qualifications What We're Looking For You’ll Be Someone Who: Proven experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture management role Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR practices Experience managing employee relations, recruitment, and performance management processes Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills Hotel experience is highly desirable Additional Information Why Join Us?
