Norfolk School is seeking a teacher for one year of maternity leave cover. As part of Ngahere, our junior team, you will work closely with colleagues to develop innovative learning programmes in an energetic, collaborative and supportive environment. Our board of trustees feel that strengths in literacy and numeracy are essential. We are looking for an applicant with a strong understanding and experience of phonemic awareness and junior literacy programmes.Strength in te reo Māori is also an advantage. Effective communication and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, whānau and the wider community is essential.
