At Lumino Family Dental Greymouth , we're passionate about serving our local community and helping our patients leave with healthy, confident smiles. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis . As the first point of contact for our practice, you'll play a key role in creating a warm and professional experience for our patients. You'll be responsible for managing appointments, assisting with patient enquiries, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy practice. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll enjoy building relationships with patients while working alongside a supportive and experienced team committed to delivering outstanding care. Key Responsibilities Welcoming patients and visitors with a friendly and professional manner Managing appointment bookings and clinician schedules Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries Processing payments and assisting with patient accounts Updating and maintaining patient records with accuracy and confidentiality Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks as required Ensuring the reception area remains welcoming, organised, and professional Hours Monday to Thursday : 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch) To be successful in this role, you will bring: Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology A positive, team-focused attitude The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment Previous experience in a healthcare or dental environment is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
