Are you a people person with a passion for creating welcoming, professional environments? We’re looking for a Front Desk Coordinator at our new Wellington All of Government office. In this key role, you’ll provide high-quality, customer-focused support that ensures a smooth and positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll be the go‑to person for front desk operations, general administration, and access coordination—helping to keep our workplace running seamlessly. What you’ll be doing: Delivering professional and friendly reception services. Greeting and assisting visitors, staff, and clients with warmth and efficiency. Managing general administrative tasks to support daily operations. Coordinating security access and visitor management systems. Providing helpful information and support to internal and external stakeholders. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the experience of everyone who interacts with our organisation. Skills and Experience Required - Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred. Sound communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with SharePoint or similar systems is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A positive attitude and professional demeanour. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand. Flexibility to work in alternative buildings when required.
