This role is 30 hours per week Salary of $101,120 per annum Generous out-of-ratio time to focus on leadership and team development Support from a national network with a strong local feel EAP support and a wellbeing-focused culture Leadership development and mentoring opportunities Discounted childcare and free annual flu vaccinations The opportunity | Te Āheinga As centre manager, you will: Lead day-to-day centre operations and performance Coach and develop a high-performing team Ensure quality education, care, and compliance standards Drive occupancy, enrolments, and roster management Strengthen relationships with whānau and the local community Lead centre planning, curriculum evaluation, and continuous improvement Champion a bicultural curriculum grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi You will bring: A Bachelor of Education (ECE) or equivalent NZQA-approved qualification and current teacher registration Proven ECE leadership experience Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, licensing requirements, and Teaching Council standards Experience with enrolments, occupancy, staffing, and centre operations A passion for coaching teachers and building positive centre culture Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Reo Māori, and tikanga Māori If you're a passionate ECE leader looking to make your mark in a supportive coastal community, we'd love to hear from you.
