Clinical Microbiologist

Employment type: Permanent, Part-time, 16 hours per week. Hours of work are Thursday & Friday 0830-1700, plus fullparticipation in the after-hours, on-call roster. About the Role As a Clinical Microbiologist, you will provide specialistclinical and diagnostic microbiology services to support patient care acrossthe Canterbury region. This includes interpretation of laboratory results,clinical consultation with healthcare providers, and contributing to infectionmanagement and antimicrobial stewardship.You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, timelydiagnostic services while supporting laboratory operations, quality assurance,and continuous improvement initiatives.
