Storeperson - Warehouse & Truck Driver (Class 1)
Looking for a steady, hands-on warehouse role with a good team?
We're looking for a Storeperson to join our Timaru team. This is a warehouse-focused role covering stock handling, truck loading and load restraint, with local deliveries when needed. Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Weekly pay
What you'll be doing
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
- Loading trucks and securing loads with straps and restraint equipment
- Operating forklifts and lifting equipment
- Maintaining stock accuracy through cycle counts and stocktakes
- Carrying out local customer deliveries as required
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Requirements
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence (mandatory)
- Storeperson or warehouse experience - picking, packing, dispatch
- Forklift licence (F endorsement)
- Truck loading and load restraint experience
- Experience handling steel, aluminium or other long, heavy materials (an advantage)
- A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
