In this role, you'll be responsible formanaging a portfolio of minor works projects from initial design and pricingthrough to delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, withinbudget, and to a high standard. Working closely with customers, field crews,subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in deliveringelectricity network projects while maintaining strong customer relationshipsand commercial performance. Key Responsibilities: As the Project Manager – Minor Works, you will beresponsible for the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of electricitydistribution projects, from initial design and estimating through toconstruction, financial close-out, and project completion. You will prepare andreview project designs, estimates, scopes, schedules, and comprehensive workpacks, ensuring all required site information, utility plans, TrafficManagement Plans (TMPs), Corridor Access Requests (CARs), photographs, andsupporting documentation are complete and accurate. Working closely withcustomers, field crews, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you willcoordinate resources, manage customer expectations, and ensure projects aredelivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with companystandards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. The role includesmonitoring project costs, managing financial performance and profitability,obtaining and evaluating subcontractor pricing, overseeing contractor performance,and completing project reconciliations. You will design and manage a range ofhigh-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electricity network projects, includingoverhead and underground services, network reinforcements, new supplyconnections, underground conversions, customer-funded works, and newsubdivision electricity reticulation. You will also ensure all estimates,designs, and project proposals undergo appropriate peer review beforesubmission to maintain quality, accuracy, and compliance. Experience: To be successful in this role, you'll have: - Experience managing infrastructure, utilities, orelectricity distribution projects. - Knowledge of HV and LV electricity network design andconstruction. - Strong commercial and financial management skills. - Experience preparing project estimates and pricing. - Excellent planning, organisation, and time managementskills. - Strong communication and customer relationship skills. - The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilemaintaining attention to detail. - Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinaryteams. - A commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmentalcompliance. - A relevant qualification in electrical engineering, projectmanagement, or a related discipline is desirable.
