About the Role We are seekingan experienced and motivated Registered Nurse join our dedicated OrthopaedicOutpatients team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the WellingtonOrthopaedics Clinic, Te Wao Nui, and Kenepuru Outpatients Department, providingcare to orthopaedic patients in outpatients, acute and inpatient settings. As part ofour clinical team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality,patient-centred care while supporting the smooth operation of orthopaedicclinics. Our nurses are passionate about orthopaedic nursing, with specialistexpertise in plaster and cast application, wound management, and patienteducation. You will work closely with medical, allied health, administrativeand nursing colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. About theTeam/Service Location TheOrthopaedics Service provides assessment, treatment and ongoing management forpeople with injuries and fractures, along with congenital, infective,degenerative and malignant disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Ouroutpatients clinics, located in Wellington Regional Hospital and KenepuruHospital, operate 8.00am to 4.30pm and see more than 25,000 patients each year. About you Have registrationwith NZ Nursing Council with a current Annual Practicing Certificate Have a currentNZ Work visa and New Zealand Drivers Licence Have excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills Be committedto providing high-quality, patient-centred care Thrive in acollaborative multidisciplinary team environment Showenthusiasm for clinical excellence, innovation and ongoing professionaldevelopment Ideally haveexperience in orthopaedic, surgicalor outpatient nursing, although this is not essential You will be a proactive and adaptable nurse,committed to delivering the best possible experience and outcomes for patients Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is'the weaving of wellness'.
