We’re now looking for an experienced, hands‑on Health & Safety Business Partner – APAC to join our team in a full‑time permanent role of 40 hours week, based at our Mangere manufacturing site. This is ahigh impact operational, on-the-ground role. You’ll bring strong manufacturing H&S expertise and work side by side with operational leaders to embed safety, wellbeing and injury management into everyday work ensuring our people go home safe and well, every day. The Role As the H&S Business Partner, you’ll proactively champion a safety‑first culture across our Auckland and Casino (NSW) sites. Working closely with Production, Operations and HR teams, you’ll define, drive and continuously improve Health & Safety, wellbeing and injury management frameworks, systems and reporting across the APAC region. You’ll partner closely with onsite HR teams, and operational leaders coaching, influencing and upskilling them in best practice while keeping solutionspractical, fit‑for‑purpose and grounded in real manufacturing environments. This is a role for someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, building relationships, and making things work in practice not just on paper. Key Areas of Focus: H&S and Wellbeing Best Practice Champion, educate and partner with leaders and teams to embed safe ways of working into daily operations. You’ll take the time to understand our processes, risks and challenges to provide tailored, pragmatic advice that supports both safety and productivity. Hazard and Incident Management Support the design and delivery of H&S and wellbeing strategies, hazard controls and systems. Lead and support robust incident reporting and investigations, working with leaders to drive meaningful corrective actions. Reporting and Insights Own Health & Safety reporting across APAC, providing clear, actionable insights that drive continuous improvement. Lead incident investigations, ensure follow‑through on actions, and partner with ACC and injury management providers to support effective return‑to‑work outcomes. Compliance and Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with New Zealand Health & Safety and Employment legislation, with oversight of Australian H&S requirements (experience here is advantageous). Use data and insights to identify emerging risks, strengthen governance, and continuously improve systems and outcomes. Wellbeing and Care Champion wellbeing initiatives that strengthen resilience, connection and care for our people, bringing fresh thinking to how we support mental, physical and workplace wellbeing. Training and Capability Design and deliver Health & Safety training and capability programmes that build awareness, competence and accountability across all levels of the business. Conduct regular site safety audits and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and monitored through to completion. Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with external regulatory authorities, ACC and industry bodies where required to ensure compliance and promote best practice. Qualifications 3–5 years’ experiencein a Health & Safety Business Partner or similar role and/or relevant qualifications in Health and Safety or related field Experience inmanufacturing, production or industrial environments Solid understanding ofNew Zealand H&S and Employment legislation(Australian experience is a plus) Hands‑on experience with H&S systems, incident investigations, risk assessments, injury management and ACC processes Strong reporting, analysis and communication skills Apractical, solutions‑focused mindsetwith the confidence to influence and drive change The ability to challenge the status quo while working collaboratively with leaders and teams Adown‑to‑earth, approachable styleand genuine enjoyment working with people and being part of the team Additional Information Why Join Jack Link’s?
