The opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community. What you'll be doing Inspire, mentor and support a team of dedicated qualified teachers. Lead the day-to-day operations of the centre with confidence and care. Foster a positive, collaborative workplace where everyone feels valued. Build meaningful relationships with tamariki, young parents, whānau, the Teenage Parent Unit and the wider school community. Champion high-quality teaching and continuous improvement. Ensure licensing requirements, Ministry of Education regulations and centre policies are met. Complete a range of administration tasks that support the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre. Use (or learn) Infocare and complete WINZ childcare forms. About you You're someone who loves people as much as you love teaching. A current New Zealand ECE Teaching Registration and Practising Certificate. Leadership experience and the confidence to guide and motivate others. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A positive, collaborative and solution-focused attitude. A genuine passion for supporting tamariki, whānau and young parents. The ability to balance leadership, teaching and administration with ease. A great sense of humour, you know that laughter makes every day better! Experience with Infocare and WINZ childcare forms is a bonus, but we're happy to support you to learn.
