Here at Outerdawn we are an ambitious studio striving for excellence. In our studio we have a diverse bunch of developers from industry veterans to emerging talent, all with the drive, experience and passion to see our games and studio succeed! We’re looking for a talented Senior UI Artist to join our mobile game studio and help craft high-quality, engaging user interfaces for our games. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, build, and implement UI features from concept through to final in-game delivery. You’ll work closely with design, tech, and production teams to create intuitive, visually polished, and highly usable UI that enhances the player experience. You’ll also help maintain and evolve our UI quality standards across projects. What you will be doing: Design and create high-quality UI assets, screens, and layouts for game features. Develop intuitive UI flows that solve game design requirements in a clear and engaging way. Implement and animate UI screens and elements in Unity. Own UI features from concept through to final implementation in-game, while contributing to UI standards, workflows, and best practices. Maintain strong visual hierarchy, usability, readability, and consistency across different devices and aspect ratios as well as collaboration with designers, engineers, and producers to deliver polished player experiences. Identify opportunities to improve UI clarity, polish, and overall player experience. Create supporting assets such as event artwork, backgrounds, and promotional visuals when needed. Requirements: Strong passion for games, especially mobile games. At least 5 years experience in game development, with shipped titles. Excellent eye for graphic design, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy. Strong illustrative skills with the ability to create stylised UI assets and icons. Experience working in Unity (UI implementation and/or animation). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop (or similar tools). Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and how they apply in games. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and verbal). Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple disciplines. Ability to take ownership and drive features independently when required. Comfortable working in a fast-paced game development environment.
