Business Coordinator

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: We have an opportunity for a Business Coordinator to join us in a fixed-term role through to 30 June 2027. As the Business Coordinator you will be part of a team providing administrative support across our small close-knit organisation. The Business Coordinator is expected to provide a range of administrative support according to the needs across the organisation. This includes coordinating meetings and events, managing correspondence and documentation, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of business operations. You will be part of the Ministerial and Executive Services team so will have the opportunity to improve your knowledge of the machinery of government and related processes. You will have a strong background in administrative processes, systems, and technology. You will have a collaborative approach to problem solving, keenness to learn and are naturally supportive and enabling of others. Ideally, you possess knowledge and experience in (or will quickly learn): delivering stakeholder support and solutions in a continuous improvement-focused environment. providing coordination and/or administrative support across functions within a complex environment the processing of financial transactions and the ability to guide others. how to format documents for accessibility. creating meetings and events while ensuring that the needs of all participants are considered, such as booking NZSL interpreters. You will be flexible and provide the support needed and ideally train others to self-help in future. To undertake this role successfully, you will either be a disabled person, tāngata whaikaha Māori, or have lived experience as whānau, or be able to establish credibility and trust with the disability community.
