Ruru La Chouette is Wellington's only French-English bilingual class. It delivers the New Zealand curriculum in both French and English. Our learners are immersed in both French and English through a rich, authentic curriculum that celebrates language, culture and belonging. As part of Ridgway School, you'll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team committed to providing exceptional learning opportunities for every child. We're looking for a teacher who: is fluent in both French and English, with the ability to teach confidently in both languages is a New Zealand registered teacher (or eligible to become NZ registered) creates engaging, high-quality learning experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning builds strong relationships with children, whānau and colleagues has high expectations while nurturing every learner to succeed is organised, reflective and collaborative values cultural diversity and enjoys working as part of a bilingual teaching team.
