We are proud of our close-knit team, welcoming environment and strong relationships with tamariki and whānau. We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic ECE Teacher to join our experienced team. Applicants with Montessori training or experience are especially encouraged to apply. Your knowledge, skills and educational philosophy would be a valued addition to our centre. About the role As a Teacher at Jack and Jill Educare, you will: plan and deliver engaging, child-led learning experiences aligned with Te Whāriki build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with tamariki and whānau support an inclusive, culturally responsive and nurturing learning environment create meaningful learning stories, assessments and documentation work collaboratively with colleagues on planning, centre initiatives and continuous improvement participate in professional learning and contribute positively to centre life. About you We would love to hear from you if you have: a New Zealand-recognised ECE teaching qualification, or an equivalent qualification recognised in New Zealand full or provisional Teaching Council registration, or are working towards registration Montessori experience or training, which would be highly regarded a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young children strong communication and relationship-building skills a positive, dependable and collaborative approach a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, bicultural practice and inclusive education.
