About the Role Make a meaningful difference in the lives of tamariki and their whānau as part of our Child Development Service. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in the assessment, diagnosis, and support of children with autism spectrum disorder and Intellectual Disability. About the Team/Service/Location Based at the Tauranga Child Wellness Centre, our Child Development Service brings together a dedicated multidisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals committed to supporting children with developmental needs and their whānau. Collaboration, shared learning, and whānau-centred care are at the heart of our service, creating an environment where clinicians are supported to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across our community. You are an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a passion for working alongside tamariki and whānau. Compassionate, collaborative, and motivated by making a difference, you enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team and are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care. What you will bring: Current registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a current Annual Practicing Certificate Experience in paediatric assessment and diagnosis, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability Strong clinical assessment and communication skills A collaborative approach to multidisciplinary practice Commitment to whānau-centred and culturally responsive care Current full NZ drivers licence Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
