Customer Services Representative

Our St Lukes branch is looking for a Customer Services Representative to join our team and deliver great service to our trade and retail customers every day. About the Role As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in achieving branch sales targets and building lasting customer loyalty through quality service. This role will also allow you to work across all areas of branch operations, from serving customers on the floor to loading trucks, managing stock, and keeping the yard running safely and efficiently. Providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships Filling customer orders accurately and efficiently, and loading correct orders onto trucks Ensuring loads comply with legal and safety requirements before deliveries go out Unloading supplier deliveries and checking goods against documentationParticipating in cycle counts and stocktakes Keeping the panels / bulk store, and yard clean, tidy, and well presented Load and unload building materials either with a forklift or manual handling Carryout customer deliveries efficiently and on time and in accordance with health and safety regulations About You You will be the perfect fit for this role if you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and have the following skills and qualities: Valid FULL New Zealand Driver's Licence Current Forklift Licence (OSH certified, F Endorsed) and demonstrated forklift competency A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling Proficiency in the use of computer systems Building industry knowledge is advantageous Advantages of Advancing Your Career with Carters In return, we'll make sure you're looked after in a professional, positive, inclusive and supportive working environment that you can be proud of.
