Are you passionate about developing others and raising the bar on technical excellence? We're looking for a Life & Health Best Practice Lead to join our Sales, Advice & Service team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence our Life and Health advisers capability by providing technical expertise, coaching, training, and best practice support. You'll play a key role in building adviser capability, supporting quality outcomes for clients, and ensuring the consistent application of industry and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with leaders, advisers, provider partners, Learning & Development, and Risk Quality to identify development opportunities and embed best practice across the business. What you'll be doing Delivering technical coaching and training to our Life & Health Advisers. Developing and facilitating learning programmes, resources, and best practice guidance. Using risk quality insights and trends to identify capability gaps and training needs. Supporting adviser onboarding, accreditation, and ongoing professional development. Partnering with internal stakeholders and provider partners to ensure consistent and compliant advice practices. Translating complex technical and industry information into practical, engaging learning solutions. Championing continuous improvement and helping embed process and regulatory changes across the adviser network. About you To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Strong Life & Health insurance knowledge and industry expertise. Experience in coaching, mentoring, training, or capability development. A passion for helping others grow and succeed. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. The ability to simplify complex concepts and tailor learning for different audiences. A strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and quality assurance. Experience working collaboratively across teams and influencing without formal authority. What you'll bring Experience in a life and health insurance products Proven success developing capability and delivering training programmes. Insurance industry experience is essential. NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5). The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
