Rewarding and meaningful work in the disability sector Permanent, full-time role, 80k+ Based in Auckland Mō te tūnga | About the role We're looking for a Speech Language Therapist with experience in the Health and Disability sector to join our National Wellbeing Clinical team. In this role, you'll guide and support safer eating and drinking and communication initiatives, helping to develop and deliver evidence-based programmes to improve the lives of the people we support. While not delivering direct clinical care, your expertise will shape safe, high-quality practices particularly in our Safer Eating and Drinking Programme. This role will also require you to travel nation wide, sometimes at short notice. The ideal person for this role will be aNew Zealand Registered Speech Language Therapist with proven success in delivering health initiatives, ideally within large organisations. You’ll have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, and experience in community settings working with complex support. You will also bring: At least 1 year of post-graduate experience. An understanding of safer eating and drinking in an intellectual disability context. A willingness to travel as and when required. Communication Assistive Technology Level 1 accredited preferred. (Training and support to achieve accreditation will be provided for ideal candidates) Nōu te rourou | What's in it for you?
