About the job: We’re looking for an experienced Wastewater Supervisor to join our team in Christchurch! The role involves: Leading, coaching and supporting a team of wastewater field staff. Planning and coordinating daily and weekly work programmes. Ensuring crews have the people, plant and resources needed to deliver quality outcomes. Support the training and development of the Wastewater team. Participate in the on-call supervisor roster. What you’ll need: Experience supervising operational or field-based teams. Strong knowledge of wastewater, water, utilities, civil construction or a similar industry. Excellent planning and organisational skills. A commitment to health, safety and environmental excellence. Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems. Great communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships. All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
