About The Team The Integrated Planning group supports the safe, reliable and cost-effective performance of Transpower’s grid assets through long-term planning, whole-of-lifecycle costing and risk-based decision-making. Within Asset Planning, the Portfolio Performance team provides assurance and reporting across asset and maintenance portfolios, helping leaders understand delivery, outcomes and performance across the asset lifecycle. The opportunity As Portfolio Performance Advisor, you’ll support performance reporting and insight across Transpower’s asset and maintenance portfolios. You’ll analyse portfolio data to identify trends, issues and opportunities that improve visibility of delivery, value, risk, service objectives and asset outcomes. You’ll help develop and improve reporting frameworks, performance measures and dashboards across project closeout, cost, data quality, scope delivery and progress tracking. Working with Portfolio Owners and Leads, you’ll support investigations, monitor progress and contribute to stronger asset management decisions. You’ll also work with technical, delivery, commercial and corporate teams, and external engineering consultants, to identify issues and support continuous improvement. This includes: assessing asset and maintenance portfolio outcomes improving portfolio reporting frameworks and processes turning complex portfolio data into practical insights tracking delivery progress and improvement opportunities supporting consistent, evidence-based asset management decisions Learn more about our Asset Management Plan here What will you bring? You’ll bring asset management knowledge, analytical curiosity and the confidence to turn data into practical insights. You’ll be comfortable working across technical, delivery and corporate teams, and able to explain complex information clearly. Your CV and cover letter will clearly demonstrate: asset management knowledge and experience, ideally within a technical asset management team or framework strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on detecting trends and spotting improvement opportunities experience analysing data and developing insight-led reports experience using reporting or data tools such as Power BI, Excel, Python, AMPS, Maximo or similar strong written and verbal communication skills a relevant engineering, technical, analytical, business or asset management qualification Join us at Transpower Our people care deeply about each other and New Zealand.
