Key responsibilities Safety and Supervision: Provide vigilant, constant monitoring for a student who has a high propensity to climb and is a flight risk. Intensive Personal Care: Provide full physical assistance with toileting and personal hygiene routines. Learning and Communication Support: Work alongside the teacher and specialists to implement Individual Plan goals. Sensory Regulation: Facilitate daily sensory strategies, such as deep pressure, tactile play, and movement, to help the student remain regulated and ready for learning. The Ideal Candidate Patient and physically active, with the ability to maintain high levels of supervision for a student who frequently runs and climbs. Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay is highly preferred. A collaborative team player who can communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and a wider specialist team. Experience in a school setting is advantageous.
