Maternity cover: Secondary Physics and/or Chemistry and Mathematics Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 28/01/2027, End Date: 02/07/2027 (Maternity Leave) Area / composite (Years 1–15), Certificated teacher Mathematics and statistics, Science We are seeking a passionate, curriculum-focused New Zealand registered teacher equipped with the pastoral care and classroom management skills required to enable secondary students to achieve to the best of their ability, particularly in Mathematics, Physics and/or Chemistry . Experience teaching NCEA Level 2 and/or Level 3 Physics and/or Chemistry is required. You will join our team for a fixed-term position, covering a period of maternity leave for Terms 1 and 2, 2027. The position is expected to commence at the start of Term 1 2027 and finish at the end of Term 2 2027 (as published on the school website ). Who we are looking for Curriculum experts: Strong in teaching and pedagogical knowledge, particularly in senior secondary Mathematics, Physics and/or Chemistry, including NCEA Level 2 and 3. Relational leaders: Passionate about pastoral care and inspiring young people to strive for excellence. Digitally literate: Able to integrate modern learning tools effectively into the Mathematics and Science curriculum areas.
