About the Role This is a good opportunity for you to make a real difference in the health and wellbeing of our community. We have a new Ward Clerk role to provide administrative and clerical support in the smooth running of the Labour and Birthing Suite and Womens Assessment Unit within Womens Health at Auckland City Hospital. This is a fully rostered position, Monday to Sunday and 24/7. The Ward Clerk position is varied and involves a high level of customer contact. You will be responsible for the maintenance of patient's files, arranging and monitoring patient movements, communication and liaison, and assisting in ward management functions. In this role, you will be: Involved with a high level of customer contact Responsible for the maintenance of patient's files, arranging and monitoring patient movement. Communicating, liaising and organising follow up appointments and assisting in ward management functions.
