We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Specialist to play a critical role in a major supply chain transformation initiative. In this role, you will lead the technical configuration, integration, and migration activities required to transition a legacy SAP APO landscape to SAP IBP while enabling seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS. Job Summary: The SAP IBP Specialist will drive the technical execution, system configuration, and data migration required transition our legacy SAP APO footprint to SAP IBP. Map existing APO Supply Network Planning (SNP) into IBP Response & Supply and Inventory Optimization models, and build a closed-loop integration with S/4HANA PP/DS for short-term detailed execution Key Responsibilities: 1. Core IBP Module Configuration Response & Supply: Build and tune Order-Based Planning (OBP) planning areas, configuring prioritization rules, allocation runs, and deployment heuristics/optimizers. Inventory Optimization (IO): Configure multi-echelon safety stock operators, master data types, and key figures to model demand and supply variability. 2. S/4HANA PP/DS & IBP Integration Configure the seamless handoff between IBP (mid-term supply/deployment) and S/4HANA PP/DS (short-term finite scheduling). Map IBP supply recommendations (planned orders, purchase requisitions) to automatically trigger detailed scheduling runs in PP/DS. 3. Data Integration & Interface Management Build, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines using Real-Time Integration (RTI) for order-based data and SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CPI-DS) for time-series data. Manage the integration of core master data (material masters, work centers, PDS/BOMs) and transactional data (batches, stock, sales orders) between S/4HANA and IBP. Resolve data synchronization, queue errors (CIF/RTI monitors), and delta reconciliation anomalies between systems. Author functional specifications, configure calculation graphs, write complex Excel planning view local formulas, and build analytics dashboards. Execute rigorous Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts. Provide deep technical support during cutover, go-live, and post-implementation hyper care phases. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in SAP supply chain solutions, with 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience in SAP IBP, with a strong background in SAP ERP/S4HANA supply chain modules. Proven track record of configuring at least 2 complex implementations involving IBP Response & Supply (OBP) and IBP Inventory Optimization. Strong understanding of supply chain processes and planning methodologies. Advanced hands‑on experience using SAP RTI (Real-Time Integration), CI-DS and Core Interface (CIF) logic to bridge ERP and advanced planning layers. Excellent English communication skills, written as well as verbally. Strong analytical, communication and facilitation skills. Proactively analyzing and driving complex issues and significantly improving, changing or adapting existing processes and systems. Preferred Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA ePPDS and SAP APO.
