About the role Skyline is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented People & Capability Coordinator to join our centralised People & Capability team, based at Skyline Queenstown. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in HR and gain experience within a growing, values-driven organisation. We're looking for someone who holds themselves to a high standard and takes genuine pride in delivering accurate, quality work. Reporting to the Group Manager - P&C Operations and working closely with our New Zealand-based P&C team, leaders, employees, candidates, you'll provide effective coordination and administration across a wide range of P&C processes, all while playing a key role in supporting the employee experience. No two days are the same, and you'll be exposed to broader aspects of People & Capability across our global operations. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will take ownership, follow through on commitments, learn quickly, and enjoy being part of a collaborative and supportive team. You will be responsible for: supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding, coordinating recruitment activities, supporting the payroll function with accurate and timely employee data and payroll-related administration, facilitating employee inductions, maintaining accurate and compliant employee records across HR systems, providing administration and coordination support across People & Capability projects and initiatives, monitoring key people processes to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met, building effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, supporting the overall delivery of an exceptional employee experience. You will have/be: a genuine interest in building a career in HR, highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, strong administration, planning and organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proactive mindset, strong sense of urgency, and willingness to take initiative, professional, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity, strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach, confidence using technology and Microsoft Office, open, honest, empathetic and aligned with Skyline's values.
