This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership across our Senior School, supporting students as they prepare for further study, employment, and life beyond school. You will work collaboratively with staff to lead curriculum and educational change, strengthen teaching practice, develop student leadership, and foster a culture of high expectations, wellbeing, and achievement. The position includes 3 Management Units, 1 Senior Management Allowance (SMA), and 0.4 leadership release, plus 1 additional Management Unit for a shared whole-school leadership portfolio. Support the transition from NCEA to the New Zealand Curriculum. Act as the school's Principal's Nominee liaison. Coordinate key senior events. Lead the Prefect programme, supporting the Head Boy, Deputy Head Boys, and student leadership. Lead the Boys 2 Men programme. Oversee the preparation, quality assurance, and communication of senior school reports. Provide strategic leadership, mentor staff and students, and contribute to whole-school improvement. This role also includes a shared portfolio with the Head of Junior School, attracting 1 additional Management Unit. The portfolio oversees day relief across the school and operates on a flexible collaborative rotational basis.
