Job Description
Mitre 10 MEGA Whangārei is proudly locally owned andoperated, and we're looking for a passionate, creative marketer to help bringour brand to life across Whangārei. This is an exciting opportunity for someone whothrives in a fast-paced environment, understands both digital and traditionalmedia, enjoys creating engaging campaigns, producing great content, buildingstrong community connections, and delivering marketing that makes an impact. Reporting to the Member Principal, you'll help executeour national marketing calendar, as well as create locally relevant marketingthat captures the unique spirit of Whangārei and connects with our customers. What you'll do: Developthe annual local marketing plan and execute local campaigns across variousmedia channels, including but not limited to, print, radio, television,digital, social media, outdoor advertising, and in-store media all withinbudget Managepaid media campaigns and work with local media and advertising partners Createengaging photo, video and graphic content Buildstrong relationships with external suppliers and stakeholders Coordinatecommunity events, sponsorships and promotional activities including butnot limited to Trade breakfasts, Easy as Kidsworkshops, andHelping Hands community projects Monitorcampaign performance and identify opportunities to improve results What we're looking for: Experiencein marketing, advertising, or communications Strongunderstanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels Experiencewith paid media planning and campaign execution Photographyand videography skills, with the ability to create engaging content Basicgraphic design skills and confidence using creative design tools Strongorganisational and project management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Excellentcommunication and relationship-building skills Acreative mindset balanced with commercial thinking, turning ideas intoaction Experienceanalysing campaign performance and using insights to drive better outcomes Someonewho is organised, proactive, and happy to roll up their sleeves and muckin when needed Be partof a successful locally owned business Enjoy alively and supportive team culture Bringyour ideas to life and make a real impact Workacross a diverse range of marketing activities If you're passionate about marketing, love creatingcontent, and want to help one of Northland's most recognisable brands connectwith its community, we'd love to hear from you.
