We’re an RICS-regulated firm, and we’re on the hunt for two Graduate Building Surveyors based in our Auckland team who are ready to jump in and make an impact. This is a full-time permanent role, 40 hours/week, $67,000 to 72,000 per annum.

\n What You’ll Do

No two days will be the same. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you’ll get stuck into:

\n
• Hands-on building surveys, inspections, and defect diagnostics.
\n
• Writing clear, professional reports that make a difference.
\n
• Supporting senior surveyors with contract administration and on-site monitoring.
\n
• Assist in specification and design of remedial and refurbishment projects on some of Auckland’s most iconic buildings.
\n
• Working alongside authorities to understand how statutory approvals happen in practice.
\n
• Getting involved in asset and building maintenance management.
\n
• Contributing to proposals and tenders that bring new opportunities to the team.
\n
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and remediation specialists on real-world projects.
\n

\n What We’re Looking For

We’re not expecting you to know everything – we’ll teach you. What we do want is:

• Atleast a diploma in Building Surveying or higher
\n
• Enthusiasm to grow your skills and work towards RICS or NZIBS membership (we’ll back you all the way).
\n
• Curiosity to learn about New Zealand Building Codes, Standards & practices.
\n
• Great communication skills – verbal and written.
\n
• A positive, proactive attitude – someone who’s keen to take initiative and learn fast.
\n
