We're currently hiring across our store and have opportunities available in our Bakery, Café, Service Deli, Butchery, Produce, Seafood, Dairy, Chilled & Frozen, Online, and Grocery departments. Ideally, you will be: Physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items Relevant experience in food preparation, customer service, or working in fast-paced environments A team player with the ability to also work independently Attentive to detail and committed to providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Gathering food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving Assisting with stock control Assisting with ticketing, re-pricing, and stocktaking as requested Assisting with trolley collection as required Ensuring adequate stock is on shelves and in cabinets, and is presented to the required standards; filled, faced, and products rotated Following Food Safety guidelines for storage of all ingredients Maintaining a high level of cleanliness Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety Ensuring all food prepared is in accordance with Food Safety guidelines and of the highest quality The days and hours of work will be discussed with successful applicants, but are likely to include weekend work and either an early start or a late finish. This is a full-time position 5 days on and 2 days off. Pay Range + Hours: $25-$28 per hour 32+ hours per week Applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
