Job Description

Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a background in mechanical installation, process piping or water infrastructure? We're working with one of New Zealand's leading design and build specialists in water treatment and process infrastructure. As their project workload continues to grow, they're looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of projects across New Zealand. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, coordinating installation crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard. You'll work across a range of municipal and industrial water projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs and process facilities. Key responsibilities include: Supervising mechanical installation crews and subcontractors on site Coordinating daily site activities and programme requirements Maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and quality Ensuring work is completed to specification and project deadlines Working closely with Project Managers, engineers and workshop teams Managing site documentation, inspections and client interactions Supporting commissioning and project handover activities About You: We're looking for someone who enjoys being on site, leading by example and working alongside their team to deliver quality outcomes. Ideally you'll bring: Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman or Leading Hand A background in mechanical installation, process piping, fabrication or water infrastructure Experience coordinating subcontractors and site crews Strong understanding of health and safety requirements The ability to read drawings and coordinate works on site A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery Willingness to travel throughout New Zealand as projects require Experience within water treatment, wastewater, industrial processing or mechanical services will be highly regarded.
