The opportunity The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales and margin growth of Black Hawk, Kiwi Kitchen and Specialty Brands throughout Pet Stores and Vet Clinics in the Dunedin Region including the lower South Island. Also executing strategic Marketing initiatives aligned to our brand plans, increased share of shelf and increased distribution and position into key customers, while maintaining customer relationships. What you will do Meet monthly sales targets/budget and grow key brands and consumables with exisiting clients Manage promotion activites and FMOT plans through distribution, share of shelf, NPD speed to market, and off location execution Conduct meetings in stores to effectively influence change, including business reviews and forward planning Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders in accounts Engage with the National Account Manager’s to help execute at store level and provide feedback Manage a call cycle to ensure you are servicing the lower South Island Train and educate clinic staff to increase product recommendation Ensure compliance with all OHS processes and procedures as outlined in company policies and procedures What we are looking for A positive, self-motivating, professional salesperson with an exceptional high work ethic Sales experience – preferably in the animal health or human health. Strong relationship and communication skills Ability to facilitate training sessions and engage individuals on a level that creates skills and brand advocacy Effective time management & organisational skills Experience in time & territory Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint proficiency An active drivers licence is mandatory for this position.
