About the team TheIntegratedPlanning groupsupportsthe safe,reliableand cost-effective performance of Transpower’s grid assets through long-term planning,whole-of-lifecyclecostingand risk-based decision-making. Within Asset Planning, the Portfolio Performance team provides assuranceand reporting acrossasset and maintenanceportfolios, helping leaders understand delivery,outcomesandperformanceacross the asset lifecycle. The opportunity As Portfolio Performance Advisor,you’llsupportperformancereporting andinsightacrossTranspower’sasset and maintenance portfolios.You’llanalyse portfolio data toidentifytrends, issues and opportunities that improvevisibilityofdelivery,value, risk,serviceobjectivesand asset outcomes. You’llhelpdevelop and improvereportingframeworks, performance measures and dashboardsacrossproject closeout, cost,data quality, scopedeliveryand progress tracking.WorkingwithPortfolio Owners and Leads,you’llsupportinvestigations,monitorprogressand contribute tostrongerasset management decisions. You’llalsowork with technical, delivery, commercial and corporate teams,andexternal engineering consultants, toidentifyissues and support continuous improvement.Thisincludes: assessing asset and maintenance portfolio outcomes improvingportfolioreporting frameworksand processes tracking delivery progress andimprovement opportunities supporting consistent, evidence-based asset management decisions You’llbringasset management knowledge, analyticalcuriosityand the confidence to turn datainto practical insights.You’llbe comfortable working across technical, delivery and corporate teams, and able toexplaincomplex information clearly. Your CV and cover letter will clearlydemonstrate: asset management knowledge and experience, ideally within a technical asset management team or framework strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on detecting trends and spotting improvement opportunities experienceanalysing data and developinginsight-ledreports experienceusingreportingordatatools such asPower BI,Excel,Python,AMPS,Maximoor similar strong written and verbal communication skills a relevant engineering, technical, analytical, businessorasset management qualification Join us at Transpower Ourpeoplecare deeply abouteach other and New Zealand.Withmorethan28 ethnicitiesrepresented across Transpower, ourdiverse perspectives,knowledge,and experiencearewillingly shared.We work in the office or onsite for a minimum of three days each weektosupport collaboration,learning,and effective delivery.
