Warehouse & Distribution Manager (9-Month Fixed-Term Contract)| Wiri Are you an experienced Warehouse and Distribution leader whothrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment? At Tip Top Bakery New Zealand , part of the GeorgeWeston Foods (GWF) group, we're looking for a dynamic and people-focused Warehouse& Distribution Manager to join our Auckland team on a 9 -monthfixed-term parental leave cover contract . Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead ourWarehouse, Inwards Goods and Distribution teams, ensuring our products arestored, handled and delivered safely, efficiently and on time. You'll play akey role in driving operational excellence, developing frontline leaders andcreating a high-performing culture across the site. What you'll be responsible for Leadingthe day-to-day Warehouse, Inwards Goods and Distribution operations Managingrelationships with transport contractors and distribution partners Drivinginventory accuracy, warehouse productivity and service performance Championinghealth, safety and Chain of Responsibility compliance Developingand coaching your direct and indirect reports (approx. 20-30 people) Leadingcontinuous improvement initiatives that deliver sustainable businessoutcomes Supportingoperational planning, workforce management and budget performance Workingcollaboratively with Supply Chain, Operations and Site Leadership teams todeliver exceptional results. About you To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Provenexperience in warehouse, distribution or supply chain leadership within anFMCG or manufacturing environment Strongpeople leadership skills with a passion for developing teams Experiencemanaging transport providers, warehouse operations and inventory processes Soundknowledge of health and safety requirements and operational compliance Stronganalytical and problem-solving capability Excellentstakeholder management and communication skills Acontinuous improvement mindset with a track record of deliveringoperational efficiencies Theability to thrive in a dynamic 24/7 operational environment.
