In 2017, Ngāi Tahu gifted our kura the name Pūroto , recognising the ponds and waterways that surround our school and reflect our unique local environment. Whakarite ngā kete mō te haerenga! We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) to join our kura from the beginning of the 2027 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to further strengthen our inclusive practices and support equitable outcomes for all learners. We are looking for someone who Is a registered New Zealand teacher with a current practising certificate. Has experience in learning support and inclusive education. Has excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills. Has a working understanding of the Ministry of Education learning support processes. Is committed to culturally responsive practice and achieving positive outcomes for all learners. Brings additional strengths and expertise that will enhance this important role. At the heart of our kura is a deep commitment to relationships. We value strong partnerships with learners, colleagues, and whānau, and seek educators who use effective, engaging pedagogy to create meaningful learning experiences where every child feels valued, supported, and able to succeed.
